For many decades in our lives collect names, filter memories, and become snapshots of time in life that we will never forget. For the 80’s babies of the world, the 1990’s bread life into whom many of us have now become. Not only was hip-hop evolving into a substantial worldwide genre, R&B was changing its lens as this decade provided us with some of the greatest musical groups since the 1970’s. From Jodeci to Total to SWV; from finger waves to waterfalls, the gumby haircut, gold herringbone chains, figure eights, thigh socks and bare mid-drifts, the 90’s was definitely a decade to remember.
