We always read those wanted ads that say, “Hi my name is Joe and I enjoy long walks on the beach, sunrises, and picnics. I am looking for a woman that…” The list can go on and on exhausting qualities that “Joe” would find interesting in a woman. Yet, from “Joe” to “John” to “Jamal” the only aspects of their profiles that remain constant are the eye catching plugs of nature.
Most men (and women) recognize the romanticizing power of nature, but all too often many forget the self-healing power that our universal mother also holds in the palm of her hands. Think about it. Have you ever set your alarm clock to awaken early in the morning with the sun? Or paused your day to bid it goodnight? Or maybe, just maybe you enjoyed a great meal and the grass greeted you across the horizon. What feeling flushed over you? Sometimes it is peace, a measure of calm, a certain serenity that overtakes our being and places us in a different mental state. That is the healing power of nature. It is a forever calm, a sense of clarity, an undying ease. It’s no wonder this is among most people’s generic forms of interest (not just on singles profiles), but also in life.
Often time’s people discover who they are or who they are meant to be amongst nature’s presence. Thus, it is only natural that many would like to find out more about another person while resting in an environment that is so welcoming to our individual truths. Can you imagine how much would be revealed when it is simply you, another person and the horizon present?
There is something special about spending time with chirping birds, bustling trees, and drops of rain. There is something powerful about being in tune with elements that impact our lives, but is way beyond our control. Why not take a moment and bask in the universal healing powers for self and maybe at some point bring a partner and explore the sun set…and maybe each other.
